Licence

Mapper and its documentation are © Benedict Adamson 2000–2002. Mapper is free software. That is, its source code is protected by the terms of the GNU General Public Licence (GPL). This means that you do not have to pay any fee to use Mapper, and you can use its source code as the basis for your own software. However, the licence imposes certain responsibilities and restrictions on you if you use the software. Therefore, if you wish to use Mapper but are unfamiliar with the GPL, you must first read the licence.

Mapper is distributed as source code. To produce an executable program, you must link it with the Xerces-C++ XML parser and DOM library. The resulting executable will also be subject to the terms of the Apache Licence. Users of the executable should note the following:
